Bear 77 Report post Posted December 6, 2006 Well Wayne and I are doing our best to thin out the deer herd in the Kenora area. We must have saw 30 deer today, some real skiddish, however on nice 8 pointer stood still long enough to now be on his way to the butcher. Sadly I hit a nice doe, there was hair, lots of it, but no blood. We searched for about an hour tracking and searching, think she got away. I really dont like wounding animals, she was abouit 150 yards broadside, clear shot, dont know what happened. Oh well, there will be another day. Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted December 6, 2006 Right on Bear! Nice buck. Too bad you couldn't find the doe. A buddy at work nicked a big buck. He searched till dark. He told his brother where he hit it and the brother went out the next morning. Well my buddy did hit the deer. Just scraped the neck. His brother bagged the deer the next morning! Roger Quote R.T.R.
