Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 I can't even see my garage which is 80 feet away from my house! I already plowed once and there's more snow than when I first plowed! What's it like right in Thunder Bay? S. Gillies and Neebing are getting it pretty good right now. Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!

Some Old Guy 968 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 Yeah it's even worse here now. I might be having a snowday too. It's blowing off the lake right at me. Thank God I got my plow truck fixed. I'd hate to have to shovel this stuff. Roger Quote R.T.R. Respect the resource!

eyelander 164 Report post Posted December 14, 2008 Only about 3 inches here just north of Oliver Road near Lakehead University. But, with the wind, its building some nice drifts around the vehicles and the back door. The snow has actually stopped for the moment, but I do not think that will last. Guess I am gonna get up at 4:30 am and find out what transpired overnight, and deal with it then. Our forecast is still a bit better than those west of us, Dryden is supposed to go to -26 overnight with a wind chill of -40. Guest Patch Report post Posted December 15, 2008 I was on the expressway about an hour ago. There is no road. Just piles of snow. Got stuck behind one dude on Hwy 61 doing all of 40 km/h. For about 10 km. Not fun.
