WMU 13 -- Moose -Cow, Calf, Year Old Bull

Hey Folks,

Stumped and I were out hunting yesterday and ran into a Cow, Calf and young bull in WMU 13 around noon. We didn't get moose tags this year so we pretty much watched helplessly as they wandered off into an area of woods that is about 600 yards x 250 yards and has swamp located behind it. If anyone still hasn't filled their tag PM me and I'll hook you up with the *exact* location. I don't know with the weather the way that it was today if they will wander very far.

On another note, we jumped a buck on the road that was heading away from us and I swear when I first saw it I thought that it was an elk because the rack was so wide and HIGH..... We got a dandy buck last year but it didn't even compare to this one. At any rate, it will be around for next season. Stumped couldn't get the bead on it fast enough :-(
