Mr. Canoehead 69 Report post Posted December 19, 2008 I was there last weekend, didn't arrive until 4pm or so, hoping for an evening walleye bite. No walleye, but caught and kept 3 smallish perch, with lots of nibbles to keep me occupied. I've always found the walleye bite to be unpredictable at that lake, so it's a good thing there's perch! Guest FreshwaterFisherman Report post Posted December 19, 2008 I was out there yesterday, from about 11am until 5:30pm and me and one friend managed to catch one small pike, one small pickeral, and a guy we met on the ice got one small perch, few other nibbles, nothing great, the guy we met lost a few bigger fish on some tip-ups. We were out from the dock between the island, and slightly on the other side of them, about 100m past them.
