Domer 103 Report post Posted January 19, 2009 Welcome Iron Ranger. I love fishing White Otter lake. Haven't fished a better walleye fishery yet. Maybe Kearns lake a close second. That lake is so much fun to fish we try to go every opener. Unfortunately haven't been there in three years. The last trip in we fished lost bay and just had a blast for walleyes bass and lake trout. The first night me and my two brothers fished from 6pm to 1pm at least and caught walleyes non stop all over 20" biggest ones were 24-26. This lake is a gem as far as i am concerned. We fished lakers morning to lunch, then after lunch targeted some trophy bass which was unreal one after another and then late evening walleye action. We are probably not even fishing the better parts of this lake. We should talk more about this lake. My question to you is there another way into the lake other than the portage or do you know of other entrances as I have heard of two others? Hopefully I will see you in the chat room one day and we can chat about it. Dom.

It seems to me that in the last couple of years that the bass pop. has exploded in there & chased a lot of the walleyes out. Kind of interesting getting in there when there is low water. Lake trout fishing is good in there also. Other than the portage, the only other way in is the Ann bay road. Calling it a road is a stretch though.
