Question about Whitefish

Hey everybody,

I'm planning on going out to Whitefish on saturday or sunday, i'm wondering where I get out on to the lake. I can see on the map that there is a boat launch and I assume thats where I would go out but i just wanted to make sure. Also, would I have trouble getting out and back with a 2WD Sierra or is the ice in pretty good shape?

Hey motoman

When you get to the area of the lake, when it comes into view frmo the road, Youll see a sign that says live bait, you cant miss it. The guys name is Truelove and hes got a road plowed out to the shacks. I was there last weekend and the road was really good.

I parked my car on his property because i didnt want to drive out and he charged me 5 bucks. So im guessing its the same deal for guys driving out.

I think your right, If its the same person I am thinking about, then yes, he does charge 5 bucks to go out.
