Buck 120 32 Report post Posted December 17, 2009 A friend of mine living on Alice Avenue saw a Cougar at 5:30 pm tonight in the front their house 20 feet away from their front steps. They had their dog with them and it was barking at the cat. They managed to get the dog away, the cat stared at them a while, turned and left. They mentioned that the main thing they noticed was the length of the cougar's tail. I advised them to call the MNR and call Thunder Bay Police to let them know. I advised to take pictures of the tracks if at all possible. They told me they have deer in their yard and noticed two weeks ago that an adult doe was injured with a gaping flesh wound in it's rear. One week ago a twin yearling deer was dead in their yard. They moved the carcass from their yard to the back of their property. Do you or anyone else have any other suggestions?
