Gone8to1248 158 Report post Posted September 3, 2010 Because of the high temps in Burbank,California today and a short runway 37 people got bounced off the flight and we had to take a short flight into a larger airport to get enough fuel to make it to Dallas-Fort Worth Texas Airport. This put my connecting flight late by 45 minutes! Luggage was sent on with out me!!! Will catch an early flight in the mornning to Chicago and then a connecting flight to Peoria,Illinois to pick-up my luggage and truck. Also had to fly through some rough weather going into Fort Worth-Dallas and had to radar vector through the stuff. Weather hot and humid here in Texas.
