Regulations regarding "occupied only"

Recommended Posts

eddylives

Lets say , I am camping at an occupied only posted site and commuting to work daily , but working evening shift , night shift?

Leaving at 6PM , returning at 6 AM or something similar.

The camper is still occupied daily but not during the regulated hours.

Will this be acceptable or does this mean shift workers are just out of luck??

Have no fear of perfection.....you will never reach it

The purpose of posting the signs was to stop the camping units that were only using the site on a temporary basis (i.e. weekends) thus preventing others from enjoying the location. Officers check on the sites during the day and early evening to see who is associated with each trailer. If you were actually commuting each day for work the officers would take the purpose of the sign into consideration. It would be easy to check at your work to see what shift schedule you were on.
