brookiebuster 117 Report post Posted January 30, 2011 Im wondering if its legal to use dropper flies on Lake Superiour tributaries for steelhead.Its legal in Southern Ontario so I am just wondering if its legal here.I mean using two different flies on the same line.Example:a globug(egg flie) then say 12 inches below it a stonefly nympth. Guest MNR Report post Posted February 1, 2011 The Ontario Fishery regulations 2007 allows up to four hooks to be used on a single line. A hook is defined as a single or multiple- pointed hook on a common shaft, but does not include a snagger. Be aware that certain waters may have specific hook restrictions, such as single barbless hooks only, so check the summary of regulations before rigging up.
