Bobber Down 921 Report post Posted May 28, 2018 Water level is at least 2 feet low. Beaches are starting to show up. Water temps ranged from 66 F to 72 F. Lots of rock bass today. 1 decent Pike fight wise, no smallies and 3 Wally's for dinner. All Walleye caught around 3pm when it was 31 C or 88 F. So hot without the wind. Again, #7 Flicker Shad's and Flicker Minnow's were force fed. Met a guy who tried to launch at Dog Lake and said not a chance. Nothing but rocks. No water at the launch. Didn't get into which launch. Pace Lake Road launch at East Bay may be interesting for the DLO this weekend if levels don't rise. Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming - WOW - what a ride!!!
